Buying a new phone is not a commitment by everyone. This is a purchase that in some cases is really difficult: many models really cost too much for our pockets. Even if they’re about 300 euros? That’s right. Really excessive, and that puts us to the hard choice: do we have to take some product of a poor brand? Or do we have to buy a cell phone that really is, but really the bottom of the barrel? None of this, honestly: there are some reliable brands that have smartphone models on sale at even quite low prices. Sometimes, even under 200 euros! Now there’s really no excuse to avoid buying a new phone. Let’s see what brands and models we’re talking about:
-
Nokia HMD 3.2
With just 109 euros, Nokia offers a mobile phone with a large 6-inch screen (with 720×1520 resolution), a Snapdragon 429 Quad-Core chipset and 2Gb ram. Internal memory is 16Gb, based on eMMC. The positive point of this cell phone is certainly the screen, with a decent density of ppi (269). The composition remains rather weak, with a low-frequency Quad Core that is still up to date for the latest aspects of the mobile world. Sure, its Android One operating system gives it the latest useful version (Android Pie) and guaranteed updates for a few years, but don’t expect to open web pages on the fly. The 4000mAh battery is good for good time.
-
Motorola Moto G7 Power
This mobile phone costs a little more (180 euros) but still remains below the 200 euro radius. Despite the Nokia 3.2 it’s much more powerful, with a Snapdragon 632 chipset, 4Gb of RAM and 64Gb of eMMC-based internal memory. Thanks to the performance from Octa-Core, this mobile can do more or less of everything – always respecting that it is a modest use. The 6-inch screen has a resolution of 720×1570, with 279ppi density. The operating system is Android 9 (Pie), but it is not the One variant – so on this aspect updates are not always guaranteed. However, you can safely say that it is a solid product. Thanks to the low price, all the aspects it offers are more than palatable. You just have to accept that the camera, while inviting and 12Mpx, is not the best. The 5000mAh battery is impressive, no doubt: it can be recharged quickly with an 18W power supply if needed.
-
Samsung Galaxy A20e
Samsung also makes low-priced Galaxy! And in this case, the A20e costs only 145 euros. Is it worth it? This mobile comes with an Exynos 7884 chipset, with 3Gb of RAM and 32Gb of internal memory based on eMMC. Let’s say immediately that the Chipset Octa-Core offered in this Smartphone is more powerful than the Snapdragon 632, so here you bet even more on the total power of the phone. However, the screen is 5.8-inch, a TFT display that doesn’t guarantee maximum shine, despite having a resolution of 720×1560 to 296ppi density. This phone also comes with Android 9 (Pie), but it is based on One UI – samsung’s version. Again the speed of updates is not much, although there is always the premise of getting them as soon as possible. The camera is double, which at least can entrust us with some decent shooting quality. A decent 3000mAh battery is also available and can be powered quickly with a 15W power supply. One last mention is given to the Huawei P Smart in 2019. Still a very current mobile, with a modest chipset (Kirin 710 with 3Gb of RAM and 64Gb of internal memory based on eMMC) but with an exceptional screen, 6 inches in high resolution (1080×2340 at 415ppi) which makes its price of 143 euros very accessible to any type of user.
